God’s recipe for success in life

Today’s message from Kevin: God’s recipe for success in life
Pillar 1: Be strong, know the Word
Being strong in the spiritual is knowing the Word of God. Psalm 119:9 “How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to Your Word.” When you know the Word, you learn the truth. Discipline yourself each day to read the Word of God.
Pillar 2: Be courageous, do the Word
Do what you learn. Psalm 119:11-12 “I have hidden your Word in my heart that I might not sin against You. Praise be to You, Lord; teach me Your decrees.” The power of faith lies in the doing. It’s no good to have all the knowledge in the world and do nothing. James 1: 21-25 “Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent, and humbly accept the Word planted in you, which can save you. Do not merely listen to the Word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the Word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in the mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom and continues in it – not forgetting what they have heard but doing it – they will be blessed in what they do.”
A seed can lie dormant for thousands of years but under the right circumstances of sunlight and water it can grow. In the desert, satan was tempting Jesus in his thoughts, Jesus was answering in Words. If you are Spirit filled, when you speak the Word of God, you change the atmosphere. You shape your destiny by the words of your mouth.
Pillar 3: Speak the Word of God
Psalm 119:13 “With my lips I recount all the laws that come from Your mouth.”
Pillar 4: Meditate on the Word
Psalm 119:15-20 “I meditate on Your precepts and consider Your ways. I delight in Your decrees; I will not neglect Your word. Be good to Your servant while I live, that I may obey Your Word. Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law. I am a stranger on earth; do not hide Your commands from me. My soul is consumed with longing for your laws at all times.” God says His Word is eternal, as we grow, His word means more to us.
Pillar 5: Observe
Check yourself daily. Have your own personal journal. Check your heart. Check what you did during the day and so you are going to grow you character. Take what you got in your journal the night before and pray over it in the morning. Watch what you allow into your eye gates and ear gates. What programmes are you watching, what music are you listening to, what conversations are you having? Reflect ion this in your journal.
Do this and He says you will make your life prosperous, you will have good success.
